A woman who’s lost everything.

Taylor is looking for peace and quiet away from the memories of all she’s lost. A small mountain town where no one knows her seems like the perfect escape.

A man battling the ghosts of his past.

Walker loves his life just the way it is. His town, his family, his brothers in blue. Everything simple and easy—until a chance encounter changes it all.

When Taylor’s solitude is interrupted by the rugged cop, they find that the very thing they were avoiding might be just what they both need. As their iron wills clash and passion flares…a killer lurks.

And you never know who might be caught in the crosshairs.

Beautifully Broken Pieces by Catherine Cowles
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

➳An emotional gravitating romance that will compel to wanting to read every single page, Catherine Cowles knows how to ideally write a romance filled with action, mystery, and most of all passion…

➳As an official avid reader of Catherine’s writing, I want to say and shout to the Goodreads, Instagram, to all the bloggers out there, anyone really whom is reading this right this moment that… YOU DO NOT WANT TO MISS OUT ON ANY OF HER BOOKS!

➳And why is that you may ask? I mean, after all because of her debut novel Further to Fall, there should not be on single cell on your body that should reject her writing. Though it is an angst romance and anyone whom follows my reviews knows that I am not the biggest fan of angst-y stories, I will never break down to reject any of her books.

➳Taylor and Walker, the two main characters of this compelling masterpiece, bring to the reader a new ambience of falling in love with nature and having a deeper meaning when it comes down to insta-feels.

➳Just like insta-love romances that are my ultimate weakness, Catherine was able to bring two people whom have so many deep down, wall guarded dark emotions that cannot be opened. When Taylor and Walker meet however, the chemistry that you find between these two is one that you cannot deny will spark your interest in wanting to read more of their love story. After loosing almost everyone whom she shared a close proximity of emotions with, Taylor finds herself in a small town out of LA and Houston in which she instantly falls head over heels with. When coming across a tea shop wanting a cashier and waitress for hire, Taylor finds her first friend in that small town, whom was able to give her a place to stay as well. Little do we know until we finally meet him, Walker is said friend’s older brother. When he hears about her, all he can think about is how Jensen (his sister) likes to bring strays to the house all the time and to help her out. But the moment Walker meets Taylor in person, the attraction is present and the reader can never deny that and the beauty about these two is that their slow burn to finally being with each other, is by far one that is realistic to the eye of the reader and also one that you will emotionally fall for.

➳Overall, Catherine has not disappointed me with any of her novels, and I promise you that she will not disappoint you either. Recommendations after recommendations, Catherine is the one author that I wish the best of, every single one of her books should be highly praised by every romance lover, and you cannot pass out on this novel. Thank you to Catherine for letting me adore her novels, they officially have a special place in my heart.
