Turbulence by Whitney G- Book Review

Whitney G. is back! Better than ever, of course… She has taken a different turn of events with this book, Turbulene and has definitely made me an even bigger fan of hers thanks to this hot and mouth watering story of Jake and Gillian! I will eventually get over it… But that’s the thing… Eventually… Who knows when?

Synopsis: Fuck me recklessly

Kiss me harder. Take me again and again…

He and I met under a cloud of clichés:
Boy meets girl. Boy charms girl. Boy fucks girl. Our story was supposed to end right after the orgasms, right after we went our separate ways.

But then we saw each other again… And neither of us could walk away.
Our rules were simple. Our passion was scandalous. Our hearts were supposed to be safe…
But when you find something so all-consuming—something so intoxicating and inescapable, you’ll risk everything you’ve ever had, even if you’re destined to crash and burn. This is us. This is our messed up love. This is turbulence.

HOLY HOTNESS IN A SAUNA FULL OF HOT MEN JUST LIKE JAKE, MAKING MY PANTIES WET! This book, this story, this novella has me questioning as to how I’m still alive after reading and witnessing the most phenomenal piece of writing I have read in a while now. Jake and Gillian have the pure bliss of lust and magic mixed with chemistry and full ON attraction. The way the prologue began, starting with their present day and then the story, the chapters, moving on with what happened to them and how they met, was writen absolutely fantastic! Every detail, every secret, every common knowledge of each other (Jake and Gillian) becomes so aware to the reader, that you instantly become hooked to this story. Like everyother cliché romance story, Jake and Gillian start off with just casual hookups whenever faith allowed them to see each other, due to their job. As the “negotiation” of being intimate with each other, and each other only, begans to expand to new horizons it becomes obvious that Jake cannot get enough of Gillian, but he doesn’t anything more than just a sexual relationship.

“We’ll share our bodies, not our lives.” He lowered his voice as his thumb softly stroked my clit. “That’s all I can ever give to you. That’s all I ever will give to you.”

He is a demanding piece of work, but the same can be said about Gillian. Both have skeletons hiding in their own closets, skeletons that so desperately want to come out and haunt their present days and future days, but they are also skeletons that they try beyond hard to keep hidding. Hence the lack of personal questions they did not acknowledge throughout the story. Everything is so scheduled, their hookups, their meet ups, everything… It really reminds me of Up In The Air the movie, starring George Clooney and Vera Farmiga! But seriously, the sex scenes are ones to talk about becahse honestly, they are super hot and steamy and will definitely make your panties wet! 😉

Overall, I really enjoyed this story more than what I thought I would… Whitney G. can definitely keep the writing coming. I’m not sure if this will be a standalone or if Whitney ever decides fo change it and write a series on it, but I wouldn’t mind a series if she ever decides to do it!
